Amber:1; Bathrooms:0

I will take this moment, since it is my blog after all, to celebrate my latest victory. Today, for over four hours, I scoured, scrubbed, detailed and disinfected my bathrooms. When I was finished, they could have been new! I was so proud of myself that I took Jeff on a tour of the bathrooms to show him what I'd done. Now, lest you think I never clean my bathrooms, I do. But this time, I did a top-top-bottom beating! It is so satisfying.

Now, for a moment of randomness, do any of you have cleaning/household tips you would like to share? I'm always open to new ones! For example, "boiling water in the microwave before attempting to clean it makes the job WAY easier!" Any others?

Is there anything better than Vinegar? It takes all the scum off of the bathtub/sink/doors/you name it.

On another note; I'm glad you didn't say that you still have that ABBA CD in your car. Amber.....DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE!

Ha, ha! What if I told you I DID still have that ABBA CD in my car? Would you come visit? Huh?

Congrats on the clean bathrooms! There is no better feeling than something really clean! Unlike you our house is going to shambles as we pack again!

My cleaning tip is to get a GOOD vacumn. I never realized how much I was missing until I got my Dyson! YIKES!

That is interesting about vinegar takes out scum out of the bathtub. I need to try that sometime. I have been washing walls in my house one room at a time because little fingers at the lower levels. I use water, ammonia, vinegar, and baking soda. You can get the receipe online if you search for wall cleaner.

LOL Melissa your tip is cracking me up-not surprising me, but cracking me up! LOL

OK this one is a vinegar one too, but if you have clothes that smell "sour" to get that smell out you soak or wash depending on how strong the smell, them in Apple Cider Vinegar. Works GREAT! It's humid here in the south that damp towels after showers and baths smell sour to me all the time and this works a GREAT.
